Advice on this Hero

Otto is one of the best Nat 4 bruisers in the game, and should be taken to 6*. He is useful for:

  • Mostly everywhere in PVE
  • Mostly everywhere in PVP

Otto has everything you want from a bruiser - high damage, great survivability, and a self-heal. His damage scales off of Armor, which means the tankier he gets, the stronger his attacks become. He has a self Armor Buff, an AOE provoke, and can heal himself whenever he is attacked. The more Block he has, the more likely he is to heal himself. His A2 also allows him to completely fill an ally's speed bar as well as giving them a Power Buff and a Crit Buff. 

He can be geared to fill the following roles:

  • [Bruiser] - Swiftsteel allows him to do as much damage as possible. It can be argued that Wartech does a bit more damage now after the equipment rebalance, but Swiftsteel still has some advantages, such as lower gear requirements, better flexibility with 2-piece sets, and being able to continue attacking after a killing blow. Use Bloodstone for that extra healing, Icesteel for more damage and effective health, or Sunshield for more Block against higher Aim heroes and for better healing proc rates.
  • [Tank] - Ironclaw allows Otto to have the highest possible uptime on his Armor Buff, while adding bonus HP and Armor. It also gives him great damage potential when he's used as the primary tank in a team (vs Water or Nature bosses).

He is a must-have and can be used in early, mid and end game.
