Advice on this Hero

Midorimaru is one of the best Nat 4 damage dealers in the game, and should be taken to 6*. Because most of his damage comes from Damage Over Time, he can be geared tanky and still dish out great damage. He is useful for:

  • Mostly everywhere in PVE
  • Certain team compositions in PVP

Typically, you want to use his A2 whenever it's up and he doesn't have a focus point since having focus points allows him to use his abilities at their max potential. His most unique ability is his passive, Tiger's Roar, which allows him to apply one DoT from his A1 on all other enemies. If geared and played properly, his A1 should be firing off twice each turn he's not using his A2. That means that every turn he's putting up to 4 DoTs on his primary target, and 2 DoTs on all other enemies. He also has Curse.

He can be geared to fill the following roles:

  • [DoT Damage] - With the changes to Swiftsteel, Witchstone should be the only way to build Midorimaru. Having his artifact and a his A2 max-skilled means that he should have 100% focus point uptime, which is required to always trigger a free attack from his other skills. Witchstone makes it so that his DoTs damage for 7.5% of health damage, instead of 5%.

He is a must-have and can be used in early, mid and end game.
